Before photography, I had a career as an opera singer, voice coach, stage director, and music educator. I made the difficult choice to step away from this work full time when health issues prevented me from performing.
That transition led me to pick up a camera for the first time—and I instantly fell in love. I loved the creative process, the collaboration, and seeing my clients’ faces light up when they saw their photos. I was surprised and grateful that photography fulfilled and inspired me in a similar way that music always had.
About two years in, as my work evolved, I starting tapping into my theater roots and discovered that I absolutely love creating custom pieces and sets and building entire worlds for my clients. This is where the magic truly lies for me.
I’m deeply thankful to have found another career in the arts—one that allows me to create, tell stories, and foster real human connections. Through photography, I’m still able to use my voice.
